Thank you all for making the 2018 Motorcycles by Moonlight one of our most successful! Friday evening’s event in the museum’s Grand Atrium kicked off the three-day weekend festival with a plated dinner, proceeds benefiting the not-for-profit Barber Museum. The silent auction included artwork, riding gear, autographed items, and lifestyle items provided by generous donors. After the silent auction closed, the live auction saw active bidding on a painting artist Bill Patterson created in two hours onstage during the event, as well as the official 14th Annual Barber Vintage Festival art painted by Anne Hicks. Some lucky auction winners got to take the “rides of their lives” on the track on Saturday, where they rode as passengers with a professional driving instructor from the Porsche Track Experience and in the museum’s Lotus 2-Eleven Roadster. A special thank you to our Grand Marshal, Colin Seeley, for his participation.
We are looking forward to this year's event with our Grand Marshal, AMA Hall of Famer John Penton! Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, October 4th and get your tickets NOW!
